Vietnam and Laos signed twelve cooperation deeds

(Tam nhin) Right after the 40^th session of the Vietnam-Laos intergovernmental committee, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Lao Prime Minister Thongloun Sdisoulith witnessed the signing of cooperation deeds between two countries.

Twelve cooperation deeds on trade, investment, education and training, energy etc. between Vietnam and Laos were signed accordingly.

Twelve signed cooperation deeds include.

1. The Agreement on the cooperation plan between Vietnamese and Laos Governments of Laos in 2018 and the 40^th session minute of the Intergovernmental Committee on Bilateral Cooperation between Vietnamese and Laos Government.
   
   
2. Agreement between Vietnam and Laos Governments on the cooperation of development investment in Vung Ang Port;
   
   
3. Memorandum of Understanding on the cooperation of energy and mining between Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade and Laotian Ministry of Energy and Mining in 2018;
   
   
4. The cooperation plan between the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training and the Laotian Ministry of Education and Sport in 2018;
   
   
5. Agreement on the implementation of the 1/200,000 geological mapping and mineral survey project in Bolikhamxay at Xaysomboun Province, Lao PDR between the Vietnamese Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and Laotian Ministry of Energy and Mines.
   
   
6. Agreement on the construction of high school in Huamuong district, Huaphang province between Hoa Binh province, Vietnam and Huaphanh province, Laos.
   
   
7. Agreement on the implementation of projects in Xaisomboun province between the commands of region No 4 and Huaphanh province.
   
   
8. Memorandum of Understanding on electricity purchasing from Boulapha Thermal Power Plant, Khammuane Province, Laos with Vietnam Electricity Corporation (EVN);
   
   
9. A Memorandum of Understanding between Vietnam Electricity Corporation and Electricity Du Laos, the joint venture of Hanoi Vientiane JSC and Phnom Penh Group on research development of the 500 kv extra high voltage line project;
   
   
10. A Memorandum of Understanding between Vietnam Electricity Corporation and Phongsubthavy Irrigation and Road Construction Co., ltd on the policy of buying electricity from hydropower projects of Phongsubthavy Corporation in Laos;
    
    
11. Investment cooperation agreement on Nam Kong 2,Nam Kong 3, Nam Emoun and Nam Ang Hydro power projects between Chaleun Sekong Energy Co. Ltd and Song Da 5 JSC at Nam Kong 2 HPP, Nam Kong 3 HPP, Nam Emount HPP and Nam Ang HPP.
    
    
12. Agreement on Development programs of Luongphabang hydro power project between PVP Vietnam Company and Lao development one member Co.,ltd.
