Song Da 5 wins the bid for the construction of Powerhouse and water intake at Song Bung 4 HPP

The project has the total investment of over VND 4, 932 billion (equal to USD 261 million) in which the mobilization resources are from the loan of USD 196 million of Asia Development Bank (ADB) and the own resources of Vietnam Electricity Corporation and the loans of Bank for investment and Development of Vietnam. According to the schedule, Unit 1 shall be operated in 2013 and all construction works shall be completed in 2014.

Sinohydro company Co., Ltd(China) is the General Contractor. Song Da 5 JSC shall be the member contractor.

On 4^th June 2012, according to authorization of Mr. Tran Van Huyen – General Director of Song Da 5 JSC, Mr. Nguyen Dac Diep – the director of economic department signed the contract with Mr. LeuJiang – The director of Song Bung 4 HPP with the value of VND 126. 63 billion consisting of Power house, water intake, the commencement time is from 8^th June 2012.

With the experience in civil and industrial construction in which we completed or under the construction process of many special national projects such as Son La HPP, Tuyen Quang HPP, Can Don HPP, Lai Chau HPP., etc. Song Da 5 shall complete all items on schedule.

On 4^th October 2011, Song Da 5 JSC signed the contract with the value of VND 158 billion including quarry exploitation and stripping of dam abutments. Up to now, the work has been implemented on schedule and highly appreciated by the Employer and Mott Mac Donal Design Consulting unit.

The total contract value between Song Da 5 JSC and Sinohydro Corporation at Song Bung 4 HPP is equal to VND 284, 63 billion and the contract for the construction of Dam and Waterway is in the negotiation period.

At present, Song Da 5 is cooperating to expand the international packages in the territory of Vietnam which have the financial support for the development.
