On the morning of January 27th 2015, Song Da 5 JSC honorably voted as 1 of 500 biggest Companies of Vietnam in 2014 by Vietnam Report JSC and Vietnamnet Newspapers basing on the evaluation criteria of the achievements in the production and sales of large enterprises that typically achieved in financial year 2014.
At the National Convention Center in Hanoi, Vietnam Report JSC in collaboration with VietnamNet Newspapers held the solemn ceremony for 500 largest Companies of Vietnam in 2014. The ceremony has the presence of senior leaders representing for biggest companies in Vietnam and domestic and international professors, doctor of Economic.
VNR 500 ranking is the result of the Vietnam Research Report, it’s based on scientific principles, independent and complies with international standards, and it’s tested with data of enterprises to ensure objectivity and accuracy of the Ranking.

Along with the announcement of Ranking 500 Vietnam's largest companies (ranking all components), Vietnam Report also announced the ranking of 500 private enterprises in Vietnam in 2014 (ranking private enterprises). Criteria for selection of private enterprises are used as the Vietnam Report private enterprise which ownership equals or exceeds 51%.
