In the morning of 4th day October 2015, in Tuyen Quang Sugar and Sugarcane Factory site, the ground breaking was solemnly held by Song Da 5 JSC and Son Duong Sugar and Sugarcane JSC.
The factory capacity is 25 MW with its investment capital of over 500 billion VND. Biomass power technology is friendly to the environment and contributes to power energy balance in Vietnam. In addition, it also minimize CO2 emission. In electricity plan VII, proportion of biomass power in Vietnam will be estimated 0.6% and 1.1% in 2020 and until 2030 respectively, with its installed capability is 500 MW and 2000 MW.
In order o meet the requirements of construction schedule, safety and environmental hygiene and works quality under the Employer’s request, the Site Steering Committee is established with the contribution of qualified engineers, architects and skillfull construction teams who have a lot of experiences in construction activities, trained in construction methodology, project management and especially working safety and environmental hygiene. All Song Da 5 staff are willing to implement works with strong determination to successfully complete the project.
