SON LA HYDROPOWER PROJECT

Son La Hydropower plant is the largest hydropower plant in South East Asia.

This project is also a high prioritized project of Vietnam, especially for quality, construction schedule and work safety.

- Total investment (Estimated): 60.195,928 Billion VND

- Construction period: 2005 - 2012

- Hydraulic turbo-alternator: 06 turbo

- Installed capacity: 2400 MW

- Average annual power production: 9.429 million KW

- Construction of main works: Penstock, spillway, flood discharger

- Waterway:  Intake, water pipes, powerhouse, tailrace

- Temporary & supporting facilities

- Produce and supply material for RCC & CVC
